Execute Processes Using Collaborative Workflows
Within Flowster, a workflow - or Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) - is a highly detailed interactive checklist that will is "run" each time you want to delegate work to someone on your team.
Introduction to Workflows
Definition: a workflow is an interactive checklist that contains detailed instructions on how to perform a task.
Use-case: each time you want to have someone on your team perform a given process (in this case a product demo), you would pull up your product demo workflow template and then click “run a workflow” for a demo. This particular workflow is then assigned to someone on your team and given a due date.
Benefits: by running a workflow for your product demo, you can be assured that each person on your team will perform the demo is exactly the same way. Plus, as your demo process evolves over time, all active workflows will reflect any changes you make to the workflow template on which they are based.
Workflow Overview
The screenshot below is an example of a portion of a workflow template for a demo for a new prospect by the name of Bill Gates.
In pink, you can see that the due date for the entire workflow has been set to Sept 29, 2022
In green, you can see the first 12 (of 20) steps of this particular workflow. Each step is a task to be completed before, during, and after the actual demo.
In red, you can see that step 3 (Confirm Lead is Qualified). This step was assigned to Karla and was due Sept 28, 2022.
In blue, you can see a portion of the content that explains how to Karla how to do step 2 (Confirm Lead is Qualified) of this particular process.
In orange, you can see a box where anyone involved with this workflow can @mention anyone else inside or outside of the organization with a question or a comment.
