What’s involved in being on the show?
The first step is a pre-interview. This is a short non-recorded call where you and our host (Trent) will determine the flow of the interview, the questions he’ll ask you, etc…
Once the pre-interview is complete, Trent will provide you with a link to schedule a time to do the recorded interview. The recorded interview can last up to an hour.
Note: Guests must do their own pre-interview. An assistant cannot do it. No exceptions.
Is there a cost to be a guest?
The only cost is an hour or so of your time.
Can I promote my products on the show?
While we try to avoid direct product promotion during the interview, we will definitely ask you the name of your company, what you sell, the URL of your site, etc…
When will the interview be recorded?
The pre-interview will be scheduled at the next mutually convenient time. The recording of the full interview is generally done within a few weeks of the pre-interview and you will be provided with a link to our recording calendar so you can pick a time that is convenient for you.
Our show is a video podcast and we will be conducting the interview over Zoom. By publishing both video & audio only formats, we have found that we can significantly increase downloads & engagement.
For the best sound quality, please be sitting in a quiet place and have either an external mic that plugs into your computer, or have a headset with a built in microphone.
